THE BIG GOLF DAY 6 Proudly hosted by Grangemouth Golf Club In aid of Prostate Cancer UK We are extremely proud to be hosting The Big Golf Day 6 at Grangemouth Golf Club. This is a major charity event, with around 200 golfers taking part, coming together for a fantastic day of golf, food and fundraising. Prostate Cancer UK works to stop prostate cancer being a killer — funding vital research, raising awareness, and supporting men and families affected by the disease across the UK. Every penny raised on the day will go directly to Prostate Cancer UK. We’re absolutely delighted to announce that Karen Brown will be joining us as our new caterer! 👏👏 Karen is hugely respected in the golfing community and brings years of experience — including a previous spell right here at Grangemouth. Most recently, she helped Tulliallan Golf Club earn Best Golf Club at the Scottish Hospitality Awards 2023. ⭐🏆 And now… she’s back with us! 🙌 For the last four months we’ve been without a caterer, and we know how much everyone has missed the social buzz, the meals after a round, and the warm atmosphere good food brings to the club. Karen’s arrival is a massive step forward — and we couldn’t be happier. 📅 Karen starts Friday 5th December🕒 Opening Hours:• Mon, Wed, Fri: 10am – 4pm• Sat & Sun: 10am – 5pm (with potential to extend to 6pm depending on demand) Expect fresh menus, great food, and a welcoming clubhouse atmosphere once again. 🍽️💚 But here’s where you come in…To make this a real success, we need our members behind it. We wanted to share some news with you following yesterday’s club board meeting.Our Head Greenkeeper, Andy, will soon be moving on to a new role outside of greenkeeping and closer to home. While we’re naturally disappointed to see him go, we’re also genuinely pleased for Andy as he takes this exciting next step in his career.Since joining us last year, Andy and his team have done a fantastic job, and I’m sure you’ll all agree the course has never looked better. His dedication and expertise have made a real difference, and we’re incredibly grateful for everything he’s contributed.Looking ahead, we’re confident that Hamish, Kieran, and Conner will continue to maintain the high standards we’ve come to expect. The club board will also be advertising for a new Head Greenkeeper to build on the great work already in place.This is a moment of change, but also one of opportunity — and we remain fully committed to keeping the course in top condition for all our members and guests.Please join us in wishing Andy every success in his new venture!Warm regards,The Board
