Grangemouth Golf Club officially launched the new season with a well-supported and enjoyable 2 Ball Scramble, setting the tone for what promises to be another fantastic year at the club.
With a strong turnout and competitive spirit throughout the field, players embraced the format and produced some excellent scoring.
Competition Results
1st Place: Alan Brown & Paul O’Connor – 42 points
2nd Place: Robert Marshall & Derek Pudney – 41 points
3rd Place: Jason McKinlay & Richard Crosbie – 41 points

A Great Start On and Off the Course
Events like this don’t happen without the effort behind the scenes. A big thank you goes to Max in the Pro Shop for organising and managing the competition, ensuring everything ran smoothly from start to finish.
Players were also well looked after after their rounds, with thanks to Karen at The Whole in One for providing rolls that went down a treat after a day on the course.
Special recognition must go to Callum and his team, who have put in a huge effort to get the course back into shape following a spell of difficult weather. Their work is already showing, with conditions improving day by day.
Looking Ahead
The course continues to improve week by week as we move into the season, and it’s fantastic to see members back out enjoying their golf.
With a full calendar of competitions and events ahead, there’s plenty to look forward to at Grangemouth Golf Club.
